CONFIRMATION 2019-2020: Application forms are now available in the church porch for enrolment into the Confirmation program 2019-2020. This program is open to youth in Year 10 and above who wish to make their confirmation here in St Patricks. Completed forms must be brought back to the Presbytery no later than Monday 4th November and will only be accepted with a copy of the candidate’s baptismal certificate attached.

NOVEMBER DEAD LIST- November is the month when we remember our dearly departed. We remember them and pray for them out of gratitude for all they did and were for us. We remember all those who, down the years by their faith, their Christian witness, their heroic deeds of self-sacrifice have inspired countless others to give more of themselves in service to God and humanity. Envelopes are available for the names of our deceased loved ones. Place the envelopes in the box provided by the altar. There are Masses booked for the month of November: See Mass Intentions.

On 9 November 2019 The Diocese of Brentwood will be holding the fourth Annual Training and Resource Day for Catechists and Youth Leaders across the diocese. The day will be held at Sacred Heart of Mary School, Upminster. All volunteers involve in First Holy Communion Preparation are encouraged to attend. There will be a special workshop for young catechists age 16 – 19. Further information can be obtained from www.bcys.net/events or the Steward of The Gospel. † WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THE DEATH OF MRS BERNADETTE CRAFT former Head Teacher of St. Patrick's Primary school. She died last Thursday 10 October. Bernadette Craft’s Requiem Mass will be held on 30th of October at 11am in St Thomas of Canterbury, Woodford Green. May her soul rest in peace.

BI-ANNUAL CONCELEBATED REUIEM MASS at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kensal Green, will be on Monday 4th November 2019 at 11.30am and at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Leytonstone, will be on Monday 11th November 2019 at 11.30am.
WEDNESDAY 6th NOVEMBER, an evening for young people with a talk from Hossein Ranjbaran, a resettled refugee, and Mary Stretch from Calais Light (www.calaislight.com). Come to Brentwood Cathedral (Conference Room) at 6.15 for pizza; Mary and Hossein will talk from 6.45-7.30pm, with a chance for questions, and then the monthly Youth Mass is at 8pm. All welcome. MARRIAGE IN CHURCH. Couples thinking of getting married are reminded to register in good time (minimum of 6 months’ notice). Contact the parish office to make an appointment to see one of the Priests and he will help you from there. Couples planning to marry in another parish or even outside the country should realise that the process properly begins here.
BAPTISM. Application forms for infant Baptism are available in the porch. Please fill in and present to Parish Secretary during office hours and make an appointment to see one of the Priests. It is unwise to organise a reception until the date of the baptism has been approved. It’s a Diocesan requirement that you are registered in this parish for at least six months and a regular church goer. Please be aware that baptism will now be on First Saturday of every month at 11:30am.
PARISH MEMBERSHIP. We are aware that some people have left the parish and while others have joined us. To those newly arrived we say welcome and wish you a peaceful time here. We hope and pray that your coming to St. Patricks will satisfy your need to have a meaningful relationship with God and help you to meet new friends. Do introduce yourself to Fr. Kevin and Fr. Freddy and register with the Parish Secretary and make sure you are known in case you plan to have a child receive a sacrament or apply for a place in a Catholic school.

We also ask that when lighting a candle, you first place the candle in one of the cups provided. Please do not walk around with a lighted candle. Please do not let your children play around candles.
ARE YOU AWARE that the Rosary is said each morning in the church at 9.05 am (just before the morning Mass)? All are welcome to participate.
UNABLE TO MAKE IT TO MASS? The church offers a service called Mass Link. At 6pm Sunday Mass, via Skype. This service is available for anyone who can't make it to Mass if you are ill or housebound. If you would like this service, please give your number to the Parish Office and we will ring you on Sunday at 6pm to listen in!
LEGION OF MARY meeting is held each Thursday after Mass at 10:15 am. If anyone is interested in what we do, you are very welcome to attend.

EL SHADDAI (CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC GROUP). Rosary prayer, praise and worship, preaching the gospel of the Lord, every Saturday, from 1pm – 4pm.
ALL SAINTS’ DAY, officially the Solemnity of All Saints and also called Allows or Hallowmas, is a solemnity celebrated on November 1. This day commemorates all those who have attained the beatific vision in Heaven.
PRAYER FOR ALL SAINTS DAY. Dear God, thank you for the example of the Saints. I desire to join their company, worshiping you forever in Heaven. Please help me follow their footsteps, and yours, Jesus Christ. Please help me to conform myself to Your image, seeking Your will in all things, as the Saints did.
