4th November

NOVEMBER DEAD LISTDuring November we remember those who are no longer with us.  We remember them and pray for them out of gratitude for all they did and were for us.  We remember all those who down the years by their faith, their Christian witness, their heroic deeds of self-sacrifice have inspired countless others to give more of themselves in service to God and humanity.  Envelopes are available for the names of our deceased loved ones.    During the remainder of the month, at least 9 Masses will be offered for those so named.  The dates are Sun 4th Nov (9am), Wed 7th Nov (9.30am), Sat 10th Nov (7pm), Sun 11th Nov (11.30am), Wed 14th Nov (9.30am), Fri 16th Nov (9.30am), Sun 18th Nov (6pm), Sun 25th Nov (9am) & Thurs 29th Nov (9.30am).

MASS LINKThe Mass Link enables house bound Parishioners to participate in Sunday evening Mass via a skype connection direct to their homes. This is an invaluable service which really makes a difference to the lives of those who are unable to attend Church in person. By moving to the Skype service, costs have been reduced by 75%. However, there is still a cost associated to this project and we rely upon the generous contributions of fellow Parishioners to keep it running. Therefore, if you would like to make a donation, please use an envelope and return to the church, either in the collection plate or to the Presbytery. Please be sure to complete the Gift Aid details on the front of the envelope, so that the Parish can reclaim tax back from the Government. If you know someone who would like to take part in the Sunday evening service via the Mass Link service, then please pass their name and telephone number to Father John.

We regret to announce the death of Lourdes Sebastian, mother of Anne Sebastian of Hazelwood Road.  The funeral Mass is on Saturday 10th November at 10 am. May she rest in peace.

The funeral of the late Gavin Edward Wooden of  Penrhyn Avenue is on Tuesday 6th Nov at 12:00 pm followed by burial at Chingford Mount Cemetery. May he rest in peace.

THERE WILL BE AN APPEAL NEXT WEEK SUNDAY, 11TH NOVEMBER ON BEHALF OF SURVIVE – MIVA in all Masses.  Survive Miva is a Catholic Association which provides one vital element for the success of the Church's health and pastoral work in areas of great need - a means of transport.  For more information visit

Children's Mass 11.30am Sunday 11 November.  The next children's Mass is on Sunday 11 November, at 11.30am. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. Because it is the month of November, we will be thinking about the saints. We hope that you can join us for our Mass and our activities and refreshments in the parish hall afterwards. Thank you to everyone who attended the last Mass, and those who helped: it was a beautiful celebration and the children made lovely rosary beads. God bless.    ~From Deidre~
