Sponsored sleepout; can you give one night of your life to change nights for others next winter? Since November hundreds of people in Essex and East London have found warmth, food and shelter in church halls and other projects supported by our church. Could you get sponsors (anything from £10 to £1000 – every penny helps) and sleep outside for one night to help support this work next winter? Couples planning to marry in another parish or even outside the country should realise that the process properly begins here.

CATHOLIC NEWSPAPERS FOR SALE: A range of Catholic newspapers are on sale at the back of church: The Catholic Herald, The Universe, Ireland's Own, The Irish Post, The Catholic Times and The Sacred Heart Messenger. They are a great way to get up to date with Catholic news and benefit the local community at the same time - any profits go towards the parish's St Vincent de Paul conference, a group of parishioners who support and visit local people in need. The price of each paper is shown on the front page. Please be sure to put your payment in the box which is clearly labelled next to the papers. We will be closely monitoring sales over the next few months to guage demand for these titles.
ARE YOU AWARE that the Rosary is said each morning in the church at 9.05 am (just before the morning Mass)? All are welcome to participate.
UNABLE TO MAKE IT TO MASS? The church offers a service called Mass Link. At 6pm Sunday Mass, via Skype, we call people who want to listen to the Mass and broadcast the Mass to them over their phones. This service is available for anyone who can't make it to Mass if you are ill or housebound. If you would like this service, please give your number to the Parish Office and we will ring you every Sunday at 6pm to listen in!
