'Ever Ancient, Ever New' 21st – 22nd July - A Discernment Weekend with The Community of Our Lady of Walsingham. Have you ever wondered if God might be calling you to become a religious Sister or Brother? If you are a man or woman aged 18-35, come and find out about the joy of living religious life in England’s newest religious community.
Diocesan Vocations Discernment Group – open to all men and women aged 17 – 30. If you are reflecting on where and who God is calling you to be, and you want gentle company and conversation with others, guided by Fr Dominic Howarth and Sr Anne Spilberg OSU, then you are very welcome on Friday 3rd August. We meet in Brentwood, and each time we hear personal testimony – at this gathering Fr Graham Smith will share his vocation story. Fr Graham has been Ordained for ten years, and is Parish Priest of Shoeburyness. The evening also includes a fish and chip supper, and a time of quiet prayer and Adoration, as well as a chance for discussion and questions.
Next Sunday July 29th we celebrate A Day for Life throughout the Diocese. There will be a second collection.
